1031 Exchange

From the transfer date of the SOLD Property you have 180 days or the date your tax return is due, whichever comes first, to close on the replacement purchase (filing an extension to the tax return will enable you to take full advantage of the 180 days.) The first 45 days is the identification period when you must submit a list of three target properties. Although you can choose anyone you want for financing a home, I recommend Jennifer Patrick.  She has been in the business for a long time, is focused solely on home loans, is digital centric so you won't need to meet in person-you can apply online and she has kicked so much ass for me in the past.  She's easy to work with.
